The Clyde River Bridge

Batemans Bay is on the South Coast of New South Wales, about 220 km south of Sydney.

It is a favourite holiday resort for residents of both Sydney and Canberra and is well known for its iron road bridge over the Clyde River.

The bridge is a vertical lift bridge, with two counterweight towers, controlled from the hut on the centre section, which rises to allow boats to pass through.
